On January 28, Yellow River Conservancy Technical University (YRCTU) held an online training session on new energy power for Uzbek participants. More than 100 participants attended the training, including foreign employees of China Energy International Group Central Asia Co., Ltd., as well as faculty and students from Bukhara Engineering University in Uzbekistan and the No.1 Technical College of Turakurgan District, Namangan Region.

Ji Yao, Director of the Liaison and Cooperation Department, delivered a welcome speech to the participants. He introduced YRCTU’s educational characteristics and its achievements in international exchanges and cooperation. He stated that YRCTU has continuously deepened educational exchanges and cooperation with Central Asian universities and enterprises in recent years, and has established solid partnerships. The training focused on the field of new energy power. The course content closely followed the forefront of industry technology and aligned with internationally advanced standards. The holding of this training would enhance mutual understanding, deepen friendship, lay a solid foundation for future cooperation, and inject new momentum into the coordinated development of vocational education between China and Uzbekistan.
Guo Tianyu, General Manager of China Energy International Group Central Asia Co., Ltd., expressed his sincere gratitude to YRCTU for its meticulous organization of the training. He also expressed the hope that the university and the enterprise would continue to strengthen cooperation in talent cultivation, technical exchanges, and other areas, and jointly contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative.

Subsequently, faculty members from YRCTU’s School of Electrical Engineering delivered systematic and vivid lectures on topics such as the current international development status and operational characteristics of new energy. They used presentation slides, video demonstrations, online interactions, and other teaching methods. The participants actively engaged in discussions and responded enthusiastically. They stated that the training gave them a deeper understanding and awareness of the cutting-edge trends and technical practices in the new energy power sector.
In recent years, YRCTU has attached great importance to educational exchanges and cooperation with Central Asia. YRCTU has organized several professional technical training sessions for Chinese enterprises and universities in the region, and has also carried out multiple cross‑cultural exchange activities such as “Exploring Central Plains, Experiencing the Yellow River”. This training not only further expanded YRCTU’s cooperation with Central Asia in the field of education, but also contributed positively to promoting mutual learning among civilizations and advancing the international development of vocational education.
