On May 29, Yellow River Conservancy Technical University (YRCTU) held a Closing Ceremony for the "AI+New Media" Training Program for Faculty from Uzbekistan. Sixteen faculty members from Tashkent State Agrarian University and Abu Rayhon Beruyniy University attended the ceremony, along with representatives from YRCTU’s Liaison and Cooperation Department, School of Business and Management, and School of Information Engineering.
Ji Yao, Director of the Liaison and Cooperation Department, reviewed the program’s progress and, based on the actual needs and resources of both institutions, proposed a vision for establishing a long-term exchange mechanism and advancing cooperation in talent cultivation and other fields. Djiyanov Maoruf Rashidpvich, head of the visiting delegation, expressed gratitude for the thoughtful arrangements and expressed hope for practical cooperation in areas such as talent cultivation, faculty and student exchanges, and research collaboration. Lyu Liang, Dean of the School of Business and Management, and Lyu Zhenlei, Dean of the School of Information Engineering, presented training certificates to the participating faculty members.
The program was carefully designed to meet the needs of the visiting faculty, drawing on YRCTU’s academic strengths and distinctive resources. It offered a comprehensive curriculum that combined professional lectures, hands-on skills training, and cultural experiences. Topics included AIGC-enabled teaching, cross-border e-commerce, and smart agriculture, with practical exercises. The program also featured traditional cultural experiences and visits to training facilities, promoting deep integration of technical learning and cultural exchange.
In recent years, YRCTU has actively supported the Belt and Road Initiative and continued to deepen exchanges and collaboration with universities in countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative. It has established Dahe Workshops in countries such as Uzbekistan and regularly organizes “Walking in the Central Plains, Experiencing the Culture of Yellow River” cultural exchange activities, presenting a more authentic, multifaceted, and comprehensive image of China to the world.
